Qualifying Washed Out in Las Vegas

A persistent rain forced NASCAR officials to cancel Friday's Sprint Cup qualifying at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The lineup for Sunday's Kobalt Tools 400 will be set according to 2012 owner points, meaning that Furniture Row Racing driver Kurt Busch will start 24th.

Sprint Cup teams, which did not have any track time Friday due to the weather, have two scheduled practices on Saturday.

Sunday's race, the third of the season, will be televised on FOX, beginning with a 60-minute prerace show at noon MT (11 a.m. local time).
