Atlanta Motor SpeedwayAtlanta was a current reminder that winter is still here and it seems that the Furniture Row Racing team brought some of its Denver weather with them. While Joe Nemechek brought the heat back to the track by qualifying 17th with a time of 30.504 and a speed of 181.747mph,

"Front Row" Joe was the fastest of the Go or Go Home cars for Atlanta Motor Speedway.

With the changing weather conditions at Atlanta this weekend Crew Chief Jay Guy opted for what he thought would be a neutral set up, but

Joe fought a loose race car from the beginning.

This loose condition was so evident the #78 scraped the wall on lap 14. The crew adjusted on the car all day with spring rubbers in and out trying to get Joe some traction to the rear wheels.

Nemechek said,

"The car was just way loose all day, I could never get any grip in the rear tires, and it was all I could do to hold on to it."The #78 Furniture Row Racing Chevy took the checkered flag in 36th position,

moving them up to 41st in the owner's points. The team is 114 points out of 35th place, but drive and dedication are key elements in Furniture Row Racing and they will look to catapult their team into the top 35!

This drive and dedication attitude will be on display when they tackle their next feat, Thunder Valley

Bristol Motor Speedway. Joe Nemechek and his team are

looking to eliminate this point difference and put themselves into the top 35.
