Furniture Row Racing Team Looking Forward to Race In KentuckySparta, KY., June 14, 2005 –

With crashes taking them out of the last two races the Furniture Row Racing team is still optimistic about the Meijer 300 at the Kentucky Speedway. The team has continued to grow stronger since the beginning of the racing season. “We are on a learning curve right now,” said driver Jerry Robertson. “We learn every time we race and we are moving in the right direction.” This will be the first race for Robertson at the Kentucky Speedway who has only tested at the track. However, they tested with a brand new car that unfortunately due to damage from the Nashville crash will not be driven this race. This poses a challenge for the team who still hope to maintain high speeds. Robertson says he plans to continue to drive hard and push it as close to the edge as possible. This will be the sixth race for the Furniture Row Racing Team who has progressed quickly during the first part of the season. Both Crew Chief Joe Garone and Robertson are looking forward to the race on the mile and half track this Saturday.
