Kvapil Departs from Tide Ride to Roll with the Row at Infineon
Denver, CO- Furniture Row® Racing is headed to Infineon Raceway, one of two road courses in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series this weekend.

Infineon is located in the heart of Sonoma Valley's wine country.

The twisting 1.95 mile road course offers multiple elevation changes as drivers contend with sharp turns, dips and hills throughout the race.
Furniture Row will be borrowing Travis Kvapil for qualifying and the race. Kvapil is the staple driver for the Cup Series Tide car. Kenny Wallace's prior commitments in the Busch Series will take him out of the loop for the #78 Cup run this weekend. Crew Chief Joe Garone elaborates, "Travis will be driving a specially built road course car, and we all have high hopes for a solid qualifying position and finish."
Furniture Row® Racing hit the ground running at Michigan, then

stumbled last weekend.

The team missed qualifying with stand in driver Jimmy Spencer. Garone explains, “Michigan was a disappointment for the team as we didn't expect to miss the race. Practice went well, and Jimmy got used to the car and track while the team made the necessary adjustments to make the car feel comfortable. The track was very loose which Ryan Newman proved when he spun during his qualifying lap. Jimmy who fast enough in practice to make the race, just got a bad lap when it counted and we missed the race.”
