June 25, 2010

LOUDON, N.H. (June 25, 2010) -- Due to suffering a fractured left wrist in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup race in Sonoma, Calif., Regan Smith has been fitted with a custom-molded splint for this weekend's LENOX Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Smith, driver of the No. 78 Furniture Row Chevrolet, fractured his scaphoid bone (located at base of thumb) when he was involved in a multicar accident at Infineon Raceway on Lap 67 of 110.

The 26-year-old Smith is being treated for the injury at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte.
