LOUDON, N.H. (June 26, 2009) -- Rain forced NASCAR to cancel qualifying Friday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The field for Sunday's Sprint Cup race was set according to the rulebook.

Furniture Row Racing driver Regan Smith will start 43rd. It will be the ninth race of the season for the Denver, Colo.-based team, which is running a limited schedule in 2009.

"We had a good practice today and were looking for a solid starting position," said Smith. "The rain really messed things up for us. Starting at the back on a one-mile track is not what you want. But we'll fight hard and attempt to get our Furniture Row Chevy to the front."

The LENOX Industrial Tools 301 will be televised on TNT, beginning with a 90-minute prerace show at 10:30 a.m. MT (12:30 p.m. ET).
