Martin Truex Jr. will start 19th in Saturday night's Quaker State 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Kentucky Speedway.

Sporting the World Vision colors on the No. 78 Furniture Row/Denver Mattress Chevrolet, Truex advanced to the second round of qualifying Friday, posting an elapsed time and speed of 29.227 seconds at 184.761 miles per hour.

"We couldn't get the car to hook up for all four turns," said Truex. "I know our guys will give this a lot of thought tonight and come up with a game plan for tomorrow. If needed, we'll keep on working on the handling of the car during the race. We all want to put on a good show for not only Furniture Row but also for World Vision."

The pole winner was Brad Keselowski (28.603 at 188.791). Rounding out the top-10 in order were: Joey Logano, Jeff Gordon, Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Larson, Ryan Newman, Jamie McMurray, Kurt Busch and Danica Patrick.

Saturday night's race will be televised on TNT, beginning with a 60-minute prerace show at 4:30 p.m. MT (6:30 ET).
