Sprint Cup Qualifying Washed Out at Chicagoland

JOLIET, Ill. (July 10, 2008) -- A heavy thunderstorm forced NASCAR to cancel qualifying Thursday night at Chicagoland Speedway. The 43-car lineup for Saturday night's Sprint Cup race will be set according to owner points and owner attempts.

Furniture Row Racing driver Joe Nemechek will start 41st.

Cup teams will have two practice sessions Friday.

Saturday night's LifeLock.com race will be televised on TNT, beginning with a prerace show 6:30 p.m. CT (5:30 MT).
