Team Furniture Row Has a Second Go Around at Richmond
Denver, CO- Team Furniture Row is ready to take on Richmond International Raceway for a second time. Richmond boasts being the track that puts on the best short track show in the circuit. Richmond’s unique, 3⁄4-mile layout produces side-by-side racing, yet drivers obtain high enough speeds to give it a super speedway feel. That rare combination still allows for the beating and banging that fans enjoy, but factors in the driver’s skill and experience in their success.
Team Furniture Row will capitalize on experience and knowledge gained from their prior race at the track earlier this season. Driver Jerry Robertson explains, “Although we’re racing a different car this time, we’re taking what we learned from the first go around to dial the car in.”
A combination of factors including familiarity with the track, and a strong finish at California a week ago, has the team itching to take on the field. “I believe that running Richmond is the most excited the team has been this year,” states Robertson.
Based in Denver, Colorado Furniture Row Racing is the NASCAR Busch Series newest team, formed and sponsored by Furniture Row® Companies. The team, its driver and crew chief are all natives and residents of the Denver area.
