Smith Qualifies 20th in New Hampshire

LOUDON, N.H. (Sept. 17, 2010) -- Regan Smith will start 20th in Sunday's Sylvania 300 Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
In Friday's qualifying session, Smith's No. 78 Furniture Row Chevrolet toured the 1.058-mile oval in 28.829 seconds at 132.117 miles per hour.
"We made a nice gain from practice and it wasn't a bad lap overall," said Smith. "The next step is to get our Furniture Row Chevy dialed in for Sunday. The two practices tomorrow (Saturday) are going to be important -- I feel we're off to a good start."
The pole winner was Brad Keselowski (133.572 mph). Rounding out the top-five in order were: Clint Bowyer, Tony Stewart, Jamie McMurray and Juan Pablo Montoya.
Sunday's race will be televised on ESPN, beginning with a 60-minute prerace show at 10 a.m. MT.
