Rain Washes Out Cup Qualifying at Martinsville

Saturday’s Sprint Cup qualifying was canceled due to do wet weather at the half-mile Martinsville Speedway.

The 43-car field for Sunday’s Tums Fast Relief 500 will be set according to owner points, meaning that Furniture Row Racing driver Regan Smith will start 26th.

Cup teams are still hoping to get some practice time in today, but a steady mist is currently the problem.

Sunday’s race will be televised on ESPN, 11:30 a.m. MT.
