Furniture Row Racing's Inaugural Season Comes to a Close
Denver, CO- Furniture Row Racing completed its inaugural season last Saturday at the Homestead Miami Speedway.
Unfortunately, the #78 car had an unscheduled run in with the wall during the second lap of qualifying at the Ford 300. This abruptly ended qualifying as well as the season.
Season and race results include Martin Truex Jr. seventh place finish that was a strong enough to easily clinch his second consecutive Busch Series championship. Meanwhile, Ryan Newman got by Greg Biffle to snag his sixth win of the season.
Furniture Row Racing plans to use the knowledge and experience gained from their rookie season to enhance the program in 2006.
Based in Denver, Colorado’s Furniture Row Racing is the Busch Series newest team, formed and sponsored by Furniture Row® Companies. The company also sponsors the #78 car in the NEXTEL Series.
