Smith to Start 37th in Dover

DOVER, Del. (May 14, 2010) -- Regan Smith will start 37th in Sunday's Autism Speaks 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Dover International Speedway.
In Friday's time trials at the one-mile oval, Smith's No. 78 Furniture Row Chevrolet recorded a lap time and speed of 23.417 seconds at 153.734 miles per hour.
"We're going to have to do what we did last week and that is to pass cars and move forward as quickly as possible," said Smith. "We have some work ahead of us, but the two practices tomorrow will give us the opportunity to work on different combinations."
The pole winner was Martin Truex Jr. (157.315). Rounding out the top five in order were: Kasey Kahne, Mark Martin, Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson.
Sunday's race will be televised on FOX, beginning with a prerace show at 10 a.m. MT.
