The Furniture Row Racing Team is excited to race at home track Pikes Peak International Raceway for the Salute to the Troops 250.After a successful finish at the USG Durock 300 the team is eager to hit the pavement in front of local fans. “All my family and friends will be there. It’ll be a good time. I’m looking forward to it,” said driver Jerry Robertson. Robertson’s career began locally at the Colorado National Speedway when he was a high school senior.

In his first year he had eight victories and took home “Rookie of the Year.” Robertson has been racing for more than 24 years.

Following in his father’s tracks is Robertson’s son Darren, 19, who is in his second year racing in the Late Model division at Colorado National Speedway and has received much acclamation. As the Furniture Row Racing team passes the season’s halfway mark they continue to progress as a new team. The Salute to the Troops 250 is the team’s 7th race and the only one at a home track on their schedule.
